Advanced Camera, Editing & Green Screen Workshop
Our most popular workshop, the 'Full Day Workshop', provides the students with an in-depth understanding of film making and how to best use their smart device as a One Stop Video Production Shop. We cover Advanced Camera and Editing Skills and embark on the world of Green Screen Technology. Each crew will write & produce either a short film, news report, documentary, music video or even star in their favourite reality TY show. These projects are a wonderful addition to their TY Portfolio and you also have the option of screening some of the projects on Graduation night. 2 Day Workshop
Our 2 Day Comprehensive Workshop covers all aspects of the creative process of film making. These diverse workshops are filled with fun & creative presentations and practical projects that will no doubt be one of the highlights of your students Transition Year experience. Camera &
Editing
Students will learn about camera shots and angles, exploring the thinking behind their use and the impact they create on screen. They will view and discuss relevant movie clips to deepen their understanding.
Advanced Camera Skills
Here, we focus on camera movement and camera techniques. We will analyse selected movie clips and discuss how different shots can enhance storytelling on screen. Students will then apply these newly learned skills in their own projects.
Green Screen
In this segment students will learn how to set up, light and shoot on green screen. We also cover advanced editing features as part of this workshop.
Foley Sound & Layering
This is a jam packed sound producion workshop. From sound design to Foley FX, the students get to turn their hands at it all. Foley Sound is where sound FX in movies are recreated from unlikely random objects. We ask the students to create their own Foley Sounds and put them to picture. They will also learn how to edit sound and sound layering.
